Good morning.

A while ago, I heard a song I hadn’t listened to in years.

I say “heard” instead of “listened” because this time, it resonated with me in a way it never had before. It’s easy to passively listen to something without fully processing it. But to truly hear it—to absorb and reflect on it—is much harder.

The song was Drive by Incubus, released in 1999. At that time, I was probably too young to grasp its depth. Now, I recognize a strong connection to Stoic philosophy.
