Good morning.
In writing his best-known work, As a Man Thinketh, the British philosophical writer James Allen stated his objective “to stimulate men and women to the discovery and perception of the truth that they themselves are makers of themselves by virtue of the thoughts which they choose and encourage.”
The mind is the master-weaver, he wrote, both of the inner garment of character and the outer garment of circumstance.
Where readers may have previously woven in ignorance and pain, Allen’s wish was that with the help of his book, they may now weave in enlightenment and happiness.
Such an outcome isn’t theoretical, it’s the consequence of practical application:
